Xbox TGS Showcase: Physint Cast Revealed, Persona 4 Revival Dated
Xbox's Tokyo Game Show 2026 broadcast named Bill Skarsgard as lead of Kojima's Physint and dated Persona 4 Revival, Wo Long 2 and Modern Warfare 4.

Xbox held its Tokyo Game Show 2026 broadcast on 17 September, and the headline moment was Hideo Kojima's appearance to reveal that Bill Skarsgård will play the lead in Physint, Kojima Productions' upcoming espionage action game. GameSpot reported that Charlee Fraser, Don Lee and Minami Hamabe are also part of the cast.

- Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 4 arrives next month, in October 2026
- Edge of Memories, a solo JRPG, launches on 5 November
- Hope in the City launches on 10 November on PC and console, including Xbox Game Pass
- Persona 4 Revival is set for February 2027
- Wo Long 2: Wings of Ember arrives in March 2027 on PC and console
- Bloodstained: The Scarlet Engagement is due in 2027
- Shape of Dreams: The Starless Path is out now on console as a day-one Game Pass release
- Fallout 76 received a free update called The Slasher
The broadcast also included a new Japanese map for Crazy Taxi, a game based on the anime Gachiakuta, and an October expansion for Once Human called The Abyss.
Why it matters
Xbox continues to use TGS to court Japanese publishers and players, with several Japanese-developed games arriving on Game Pass. For smaller studios, the mix of big names and indie titles shows that subscription services are still actively looking for day-one releases.
